Was just thinking...
Many people train for a marathon, 26 miles-385 yards, and complete it in 4 hours (give or take- average Joe runner).
What could possibly take us so long to complete this event?
What a test of mental toughness it will be... CANNOT WAIT
Training for the Next Adventure
My buddies and I are preparing to tackle the GORUCK Challenge. This is a way to keep up with training and hold each other accountable.

Training Update
WOD at the gym this morning was a 4 mile run. It was cool and DARK!!! Completed the run in 38:56. Haven't run any distance to speak of since the beginning of August. Pretty pleased but have LOTS of improvement to go.
WHAT DID YOU DO?

On the Horizon...
We have found the next adventure...the GORUCK Challenge. This is an 8-12 hour, 15-20 mile "endurance event." The guys are all beginning our training regiments and we will train together as much as possible. I am a little nervous already but I am so excited to have a new goal to achieve. Here's to good livin'!

It's Getting CLOSER
Training picks up this morning with a 2 mile run and high intensity cardio circuit after. Looking forward to more training and the event. Should be a great test of mental toughness. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Back Again
Finally felt healed up enough on the ankle to run again yesterday. Ran one mile at 8:00 minute pace. I could tell last night that there was some soreness, but I iced it and it seems to be fine today. I'll run again tomorrow. Today, some resistance.
Have to try and keep the ankle healthy so I can get some continuity in training. It ain't long till the mudder gents, got to step our game up!

Wednesday morning
Had a great run this morning after taking way too much time off. I actually ran pretty hard but definitely need to get back on track. How is everyone else doing?
